Sliding glass patio door installation cost — Durham, NC

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

The final price for installing a sliding door depends on a few key things. First, consider the material; vinyl is generally more budget-friendly, while wood or aluminum frames usually add to the cost. The size of the opening and whether you need custom sizing will also shift the bottom line. If the current frame is damaged or needs structural repairs before the new door fits, that requires extra labor. Finally, energy-efficient glass packages or specialty hardware like locks and handles impact the total investment. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.
