Sliding glass door rollers — Berkeley, CA

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

The final price for installing a sliding door depends on a few key things. First, consider the material; vinyl is generally more budget-friendly, while wood or aluminum frames usually add to the cost. The size of the opening and whether you need custom sizing will also shift the bottom line. If the current frame is damaged or needs structural repairs before the new door fits, that requires extra labor. Finally, energy-efficient glass packages or specialty hardware like locks and handles impact the total investment. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

Rollers are the small wheels at the bottom of your door that allow it to slide back and forth. If your door feels heavy, drags on the track, or is difficult to move, the rollers are likely worn out or filled with debris. Replacing them involves lifting the door, removing the old units, and installing new, smooth-gliding wheels. This simple fix can make a heavy, frustrating door feel brand new again. We ensure they are adjusted for perfect balance.
